He asked "I'm trying to see how to best spread conditions in PvE" . Magma Red answered , i quoted him/her. Easy , if your spike goes to a single target , it works , if by any means , your party has 2 or 3 AoE spells you can have free damage to adjacent and nearby foes and when the spiked target is gone and you switch .... bingo , dont need to apply cond again , just hex. Epidemic is good , but is only adjacent , this one is NEARBY from the foe range.
If you want to get rid of any dangerous caster ofc BHA+Epidemic rox but if you want to spread conditions to a more effective range , IA wins.

This question is directed primerely at Incendiary Arrows + Apply/Barbed, I understand BHA + Epid.

Well, thanks for pointing out my contradictions.
Okay, well, when I said "spread conditions," I meant what is an effective condition to be shooting out in PvE. Since Discord = single spike, that doesn't necessarily mean AoE conditions. The reason why I mentioned BA is because of the 5 second recharge, and often 5 seconds is all a Discord team needs to kill a foe, even in HM. BHA, with its 15 second recharge, means that 2-3 other foes will get killed by the time another BHA can be fired. IA+Apply, though it recharges as fast as BA, is viable, but the burning doesn't last as long. Both BA and IA are more spammable than BHA. I understand the utility of BHA though, so I will keep all options open; however, in general PvE, I rarely get the chance to use Epidemic to get dazed on more than one other foe, since for some reason, foes I face love to kite.

So I guess I can reword my main question: How do I fill the rest of my bar?

Dont worry , Apply or Barbed WILL last long enough to trigger discord and with 1 IA shot you have 3 secs of -10 degen and another X secs ( barbs or apply duration ) on 3 foes. Cast Asuran Scan on target to spike and call , done.

Bolded my addition parts. I also think like you , i must have 2 interrupts but if you are facing foes you can KD , i would take "YMLAD" instead Savage. Also be careful of the energy with that build , if you remove PInverter youll do fine. Other wise you can try :

Random Useful Stance ( Natural Stride )
Ap Poison/Barbed Arrows
Pain inverter
Res/Self Heal/Whatever

for the original problem of the caller not having energy....

all your discordway heros are necros.... im sure one of them can fit in a blood ritual. it works even without investment in blood.

They wouldn't use it on my Ranger unless micro'd on their skillbar... And in the heat of battle, I'm not nimble enough to do that.

Problem is that heroes/hench won't use Blood Ritual on a player unless wielding a caster weapon. So if he is using a bow, they won't cast it on him. Now, he could micro its use if it is on his hero, but I'm not sure he would be willing to micro its use. Plus, he may not want to modify the Discord builds based on what he has commented on already.

Hunters Shot, Sundering Weapon, Body Shot, Poison Tip Signet, Signet of Infection + whatever else you feel like.

Works well enough for me, without any energy issues...
